About Proven Project Solutions

Denis O’Connell is a founding partner and director of Proven Project Solutions. He has held a number of senior positions within the industry, following a traditional career path that began as a main contractor’s Quantity Surveyor. Denis has managed, in a commercial capacity, a diverse range of projects across key sectors including Rail, Utilities, Building, and Civil Engineering.

He has expertise in all principal standard forms of contract and extensive knowledge across the full project lifecycle, from tender documentation and estimating through to commercial management. Denis also has significant experience in dispute resolution. This breadth of experience, combined with his strong technical foundation, enables the firm to provide clients with a reliable, high-quality service.

Mish is a founding partner and director of Proven Project Solutions, responsible for commercial management, quantity surveying, and commercial systems and procedures. He graduated as a Civil Engineer before moving into quantity surveying, giving him broad insight across engineering and construction.

Mish has worked on projects spanning civil engineering, high-end residential developments, hotels, groundworks, rail, drainage, telecoms, electrical, and water sectors. He has been involved from estimating and tender stages through contract award and final account, gaining experience in various contract types, measurement methods, cost control, and commercial management. This diverse background allows Mish to deliver a high-quality, practical service as a commercial consultant.

Liam joined PPS at the start of his career and has progressed through every stage of the commercial pathway, developing from trainee to Senior Quantity Surveyor while completing his degree. His experience now spans pricing, project management and commercial delivery, and he supports trainees as they work through their own qualifications.

Daniel began his career at PPS through the apprenticeship route, combining hands-on project experience with academic study. He has developed from Junior QS to Assistant Quantity Surveyor, gaining exposure to multiple disciplines, contract forms and live project responsibilities while completing his degree and continuing his professional progression.

Henry is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who began his career with PPS. Henry brings strong analytical skills, a proactive work ethic, and proven capability in assisting in the preparation of valuations, compiling CVRs, producing accurate material take‑offs, and managing tender documentation. Henry consistently demonstrates technical competence, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners. Henry is currently progressing toward an MSc in Quantity Surveying with a predicted Distinction, he is committed to delivering high‑quality cost management while continuing to develop his professional expertise.
